It’s the most wonderful tiiiiiiiime of the yeaaaaaaarrrrrr… Culture Night!
(Did you think I meant the other word beginning with ‘C’?)
Culture Night is coming up on Friday week, September 25th, and to celebrate, some of us Cow’s Lane folk will be setting up all along Cow’s Lane on the Friday night. Come on down, and get your fill of crafty goodness between 5pm and 9pm!
You can see more of what is happening in Dublin here, and around the rest of the country (in eleven other counties) here. It seems like there’s even more going on this year than last, and I can’t tell you how delighted I am to see that. These events are free for the most part, so it’s lovely to be able to do something and enjoy what these cities and towns have to offer regardless of funds. It’s amazing what sort of interests are catered for, too- I mean, if you felt like dancing but also a bit of star-gazing and shopping, you could feasibly do it all on Culture Night :)!
If I had my way, there’d be more than one Culture Night in the year- I love the atmosphere and the whole novelty of it. The places participating really do come up with some ingenious ways to get people through the doors.
Do drop by and see us at Cow’s Lane if you’re in the area- we can promise beautiful wares and buckets of cheer, and we’re just plain hopeful that we can also promise clement weather 🙂
You can see more over on the TBCT blog here and I understand it’s all over Twitter under the hashtag #culturenight- those tech-savvy folks, how I envy ’em..
